I thought it would be fun to see how many snapshots people take on average per month of their family.
Please vote today. If you are like me… I take more than I care to admit.

LOL Come on, Kim. Topping it out at 100 a month? If there is something fun going on, I can do that in a DAY!
Now, they aren’t necessarily great quality, and I get a lot of small variations on the same shot, but I always say the only photos I regret are the ones I didn’t take.
And, I’ll always have something to scrap
I voted for 10-25, but that number also includes the self-portraits I take. Since I have no kids who are changing on a daily basis, most of the family photos I take all look very similar. Mom and Dad come for dinner or a holiday and sit in the same place and look the same in most of the photos. They are both unstead on their feet, so going out and DOING things with them isn’t possible. Carrie and Steve live about an hour away, so we don’t see them as often as I would like. That leaves Bob and Harley. Harley doesn’t care, but Bob is not the most willing subject. SO….that means a high percentage of my photos are landscape, flowers, scenery and stuff around the house.
LOL Raphne!! I admit… there are some months that I take more than others. And they aren’t all super photos.
(Gotta get that practice in, too!!) A lot of what I take are also variations of the same shot giving me a lot to choose from.
We don’t necessarily do a ton of fun stuff… I just have my camera close in hand 85% of the time.
ITA (I totally agree!!!) The photos I regret are the ones I don’t take… and the ones without me in them (even though I am not the best subject matter).
I’m very embarrassed to say that my family shots aren’t as much compared to how many outdoor shots like landscapes, underwater shots etc. I take…
Hmmm maybe its something I need to work on
I wish I could say I take more family photos but the fact is the kids are grown and have left home. I tend to focus on nature shots at the moment and experiment with people shots using myself. In family gatherings I am the one with the camera of course and try to shoot as many shots as I can. Some day I hope there will be little ones around and I am sure then my people count will rise drastically.
